New vendors can email pictures of their booth and product/art for pre-screening, before filling out an application.

STATE REQUIREMENTS: If you are selling on the nevada side of Tahoe, you will need a Nevada sellers permit.
go to their website, click on tax forms, then click on general purpose forms, then Nv business registration form.
to register online or download the form and mail it in with a $15 filing fee.

Everyone selling within the state of California must obtain a resale-sellers permit.  You are required to
collect sales tax and pay it to the state.  It is free to apply.  If you do not have one already you can apply for one online at :

CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE REQUIRES all vendors to have a City of SLT business license.  You can purchase it at the show IF YOU DID NOT DO SHOWS LAST YEAR.  It cost around $45 and is good for the summer season.  For returning vendors, you are required to obtain a year round license.  You can apply online on the  City Of South Lake Tahoe website.
Go to the "HOW DO I" section.  Click on "apply for a business license.  The base fee for yearly is $68.

BOOTH SPACES are in 10 x10' increments, 10 x20', and a few 10 x 15. No electricity is available and generators are not allowed.    
You must have your own set-up. You must provide your own tables and display.  Booths must look clean and professional. Tables must have table covers.

Canopies must have WEIGHTS as Lake Tahoe can get very windy.

TOILETS are usually porta-potties with limited hand washing facilities. The American Legion hall has an indoor  toilet. One for men, one for women.

PARKING for vendors is in a designated area. If you don’t know where to park, Check with the show manager for details.

ENVELOPES WILL BE PASSED OUT at the end of the show to collect the 10% commission. Turn in your envelope with monies before you start tearing down your booth.

There is no overnight security provided for booths.  So, if you are worried about theft, please take your product with you.

Overnight camping is not allowed in the City of South Lake Tahoe except for security vehicles.

There are some campgrounds in the area: Campground by the Lake, Tahoe Valley, Chris Haven, Camp Richardson and
Nevada Beach Campground.

SHOW SET-UP TIMES:  Vendors can set up  the night before the show after 5pm, or the morning of the show after 7am, unless otherwise directed. At the end of the show, you are required to clean up your area, including zip-ties and labels.
